1. Generations exhibition
This summer, the Boréalis museum (interpretation centre on the history of the paper industry) in Trois-Rivières will bring the Generations exhibition to us. It will be on display in the community hall in Kingsey Falls, and tells the story of several families, including the Lemaires, the Perrons and the Prices, who have marked history with their contribution to the growth of Québec’s paper industry. Come and visit the free exhibition, on display all summer!

2. The Escalier jaune exhibition
Isabelle Bonneau, Emily Knight and Monique Verville, artists from the Escalier jaune art studio in Warwick, will present an original art exhibition created from materials collected during the production process in Cascades plants. The exhibition L’escalier jaune dans l’univers de Cascades will be on display inside what was once a Cascades trailer, now repurposed and redesigned.

3. Collection Loto-Québec: Support papier
The Collection Loto-Québec will make a stop at the Ateliers Marie-Victor in Kingsey Falls, where it will present an exclusive exhibit highlighting paper through the work of art entitled Support papier. Admire the artistic creations carefully chosen from among the most important Canadian collections of contemporary visual art.

4. Théâtre des Grands Chênes
The Théâtre des Grands Chênes in Kingsey Falls is presenting the play “À vos souhaits,” a comedy by Pierre Chesnot, adapted and directed by Jean-Bernard Hébert. Don’t miss it!

5. Parc Marie-Victorin
The magnificent Parc Marie-Victorin, a must-see in the region. Come and discover the stunning, gigantic 3D mosaicultures and enormous insects made from recycled metals, or stroll through a tropical greenhouse teeming with exotic birds!

7. Open house at the Kingsey Falls units
Are you curious about how Cascades manufactures its products? Why not visit our units to learn more about the basics of recycling, the production of paper and plastic, and more! Come feel the rhythm of the machines in an experience designed especially for the Company’s 50th anniversary!

8. The Builders’ footbridge
The footbridge, which spans the Nicolet River, was built by Cascades and offered to the community as a sign of appreciation for the people of the region and their contribution to the Company’s success. Designed by artist Florent Cousineau, the bridge consists of 75% recycled materials. The structure is made of old paper machine parts, including girders from overhead cranes, de-inking cells, a paper dryer and pulper plates

9. Lemaire & Brothers General Store
The Lemaire & Brothers general store will open its doors in the recreational pavilion of Kingsey Falls’ municipal park. A visit to the boutique will bring customers on a trip back in time where they will be able to purchase local products and candy while admiring a collection of antiques.
