Cascades concerned with hasty shale gas extraction


As you may have heard from certain media outlets, Laurent Lemaire, Co-founder of Cascades, sent a letter last week to the Comité de vigilance sur les gaz de schiste (Lotbinière-Bécancour) indicating that the company would not allow gas company employees to access any of the parcels of land that it owns in the Saint-Sylvère region at least until the recommendations from the strategic environmental evaluation committee are released.
