Eco-Workshop No. 5: The Easter Sweets

This year, let’s replace Easter eggs with a responsible alternative: containers made from recycled objects!

Not only are they easy to make with your children, they don’t cost much and are irresistibly cute!

Here’s how:

MATERIALS

You will need the following items for this eco-workshop:

STEP 1

Paint the cardboard rolls.

STEP 2

Draw the beak and wings of a chick on a sheet of orange cardboard. Draw the nose and ears of a rabbit on another sheet.

STEP 3

Cut out all the pieces.

STEP 4

Glue the pieces of cardboard onto the painted rolls.

STEP 5

Staple the top of the rolls closed.

STEP 6

Draw on the eyes and whiskers with the black felt-tip pen.

 STEP 7

Add the candy and staple the other end of the roll closed.
